Teeth whitening has a long history and now it became one of the most popular aesthetic dental treatments.
Today’s technology makes it easier than ever. In one hour, with the new Zoom 2 Advanced Power system, you can get a bright, Hollywood smile, as you dreamt of.
Zoom2 treatment will help you lighten discoloration of enamel and dentin. Discoloration of your teeth may result from drinking too much coffee, tea, red wine or other colored drinks. Smoking is another cause of discoloration, along with the aging process.
Is Zoom whitening right for me?
Before starting the procedure, our dentists will perform a comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums. Our dentists also may require you to undergo tooth whitening if you are about to have other cosmetic procedures, such as veneers or composite bonding, in order to ensure a better match between the restoration and your natural dentition.
I have crowns. Will they get whiter?
No. Crowns do not react to any bleaching method. If you are unsatisfied with the color of your crowns, we will change them to match your natural teeth color after bleaching.
Do I have to repeat Zoom2 whitening procedure every year?
No. A proper hygiene and good health habits will make it unnecessary. Yearly checkup at your local dentist is mandatory, no matter if you had bleaching or not, anyway.
How white will my teeth get?
Zoom whitening can help you change your teeth color with up to 8 shades. Note that not al teeth are the same, so it’s not possible to predict exactly how much whiter they will get. It also depends on the color you have before the bleaching.
What is the Zoom2 whitening procedure like?
The procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to cover your lips and gums, leaving only your teeth exposed. Our doctors will then apply the Zoom whitening gel, which was designed to be used specifically with the Zoom 2 Advanced Power light. The light and gel work together to gently penetrate your teeth, breaking up the stains and discoloration.
The gel is applied for 3 or 4 fifteen minute sessions for a total treatment time of maximum 60 minutes, then you’re done. You finally have the perfect smile!
